Good Afternoon all,
Welcome to this weeks edition of the week ahead. I would like to apologise on behalf of the week ahead staff (me!) for last weeks edition not arriving in your inbox's. This was due to a breakdown in facilities and a lack of enthusiasm on the editors behalf due to being overworked!
The Week Ahead
Friday: One to one coaching is still available at the club. Contact me for details. The veterans are at home against haunchwood in the over 50s league!!
Saturday: Please see the attached team sheet for all details. This weekend, i'm sure all you wives and girlfriends will be pleased, marks the halfway point of the season . The top 3 sides are all in contention of getting promoted out of their divisions with the 3s & 4s looking to have a strong 2nd half to finish as high as they can. Availability is back upto something like normal this weekend with nearly 70 people available Sat!!
Sunday: The thriving juniors season continues with the U13 A side away at Ansley and the B side at home against Bedworth. Both game start at 10am. The Sunday league continues with a double header against Leamington. 1s away and the res at home.
Monday: Junior games coming thick and fast now with the U10's, 15's & 17's all playing. The 10s are at home against Ambleside, the 15s are away against griff & the 17s travel to kenilworth Wardens. We will also be looking to return selection to Mondays as of this week! Get your availability in!!
Tuesday: Training sessions are getting better by the week but the numbers are still a bit too low. Same faces every week and not enough of us putting the hard yards in! Lets buck that trend and get going!! We'll be gutted when the seasons over, lets make sure its not full of regrets!!
Wednesday: The Weddy Rd juniors continue to thrive! Massive numbers the last 2 weeks but still a shortage of volunteers and coaches. Please put your hands up and be counted!!!

100 Club Draw: The 1st draw takes place this Sat. You can reserve your number through the Lord. Numbers are £20 and theres only e few left!!
Next social: I believe through the grapevine that a school disco has been pencilled in for the 18th July. I will confirm this in next weeks week ahead!! Watch this space.
Bonus Ball: The winner of this weeks bonus ball was Val Hubbard!!
Edgbaston: The junior section are running a coach to Edgbaston for the pro 40 floodlit game against Middlesex on Tuesday 14th July. We have 100 free tickets for the game and a coach has been nooked to leave the club at approx 3pm. The coach will be around £5 per head. 1st come 1st served on the tickets but juniors will get priority!!
Advertising Boards: Iain "Goose" Green our roving reporter has put together a letter to try and attract potential sponsors to the club. I have attached the letter. Could you please print off at least 1 copy and give to your boss, dad, mate or any potential sponsors you can think of. This is an area of revenue we are not accessing enough. PLEASE HELP!!!
